We are in London, Bath and Holmfirth as our base, we travel throughout the UK and globally. We’re happy to travel to any location for your event.

We’ll provide all our own equipment, including flying Vs, PA system, microphones, stands, lighting, amplifyers (big ones), drums (even bigger ones), and smoke machines (we have many) —everything we need to bring the performance to your door. All we need from you is the space to set up, some power, and that you bring your passion to the dancefloor.
By carefully coordinating with you and the venue to determine ideal arrival times, we can ensure our setup process is seamless and unobtrusive. And at the end of the event, we’ll discreetly pack up our things to leave you and your guests to say your goodbyes.
Whether it’s a birthday party or a corporate event, we’ll help to highlight different options to tailor the event to your specific needs. By collaborating with you in the lead-up to your event to discuss playlists, speeches, special requests, and any additional announcements, we maintain an open communication with the venue to ensure everyone is aligned regarding logistics, space, and timing.
We aim to arrive 3 hours before your guests are expected. By the time the first guest walks through the door, all equipment, sound systems, lighting, and instruments will be fully set up and ready to go.

You choose the tunes!
One of the first questions you may have is, ‘What will the band play?’ The Honey Badgers maintain a dynamic and ever-evolving playlist.
Another common question is, ‘Can we choose the songs?’ The answer is always a resounding YES! This is your special day, and we’re happy to play the music you want.
That said, we recommend we work in a collaborative manner to ensure the best possible experience. While you’re welcome to suggest songs, we find the most memorable events strike a balance between your preferences and our ability to read the crowd and create the perfect atmosphere.
Just let us know which songs from our playlist you enjoy (and any you prefer to avoid). From there, we can curate the setlist to ensure your favourite tracks are played at just the right moments.
Additionally, if you have a special song that’s not on our list, we are happy to learn it for your event. This is especially common for weddings, where the couple often want to select a unique song for their first dance. We are more than willing to accommodate such requests, (while it helps to expand our repertoire in the process). We can even accommodate guest requests from our existing playlist.

We typically perform approximately 2.5 hours of live music during the evening, which usually conclude by midnight. This is often arranged as three 50-minute sets with breaks inbetween, though it can also be structured as two longer sets if preferred.
We are flexible and can adjust the performance schedule to suit your specific requirements, providing as much (or as little) of the music you need for your event.
We’re a four piece band – guitar & vocals, drums & vocals, bass, and lead guitar.
From our experience, we know what works well at a party, so we have a good idea of what we will play. On the night, we always read the floor to gauge the mood of the event and then alter the playlist accordingly.
Yes, our equipment is at your disposal throughout the event for speeches or announcements.
Simply put, no we don’t charge extra. We provide our own high-quality, professional sound and lighting systems, which are included in any quote for the band.
We need about an hour or so to set up and sound-check comfortably. If there are any access issues to the venue, we need to know in advance. Normally, we have a chat with the venue anyway to introduce ourselves.
For parties and weddings, we typically aim to set up 3 hours before the scheduled performance time.
On a typical evening, this might involve setting up around 5:00 PM, with performances running from 8:00 PM to midnight. If an earlier setup is required, we can accommodate this with prior notice.
We are able to perform both with or without a stage, indoors or outdoors. For stage performances, the ideal stage dimensions for a comfortable setup are 18ft x 12ft. If performing without a stage, we require an area of approximately 15ft x 10ft.
For outdoor events, a marquee or a suitable canopy is recommended to ensure protection in case of poor weather conditions.
We require at least two electrical sockets in the vicinity of the performance area. The full band with all sound and lighting equipment requires power consumption of approximately 4000W, which can be safely provided by 2 standard mains wall sockets.
Bookings are confirmed by receipt of a £100 deposit and a signed contract with full details of the event. Balance payment is usually by bank transfer during the week of the booking.
What happens if I cancel?
In the event of cancellation, the following cancellation fees will apply:
- More than 12 weeks prior: no cancellation fee
- 4 – 12 weeks prior: 50% of the fee is required
- Less than 4 weeks prior: no refund
